Does your relationship feel distant?
You love each other – but something feels off. Not as light, not as close as it used to be.
Sometimes, misunderstandings, unspoken needs, or old wounds quietly make their way into the relationship. Maybe you’re living more side by side than truly together – or you keep running into the same exhausting conflicts over and over again.
Whether it’s about your communication, your intimacy, or a major challenge like a cancer diagnosis – change is possible.
In my online couples counseling, we explore what’s really going on beneath the surface – and find new ways to bring more closeness, trust, and aliveness back into your relationship.
There are times when a relationship feels stuck. Maybe you recognize yourself in one of these situations:
You feel emotionally disconnected or distant from each other
Conversations often end in conflict or withdrawal
Intimacy and sexuality have become rare or no longer feel right
A betrayal of trust, such as an affair, is straining your connection
A cancer diagnosis or other health issue has changed your dynamic
You’re thinking about opening your relationship, but don’t know how to approach it
You have different needs and can’t seem to meet each other halfway
Intimacy often reveals where a couple has become lost. Physical closeness can be beautiful – or feel uncertain and foreign when hurt or fear are present.
"Sometimes, no big words are needed — just one honest moment. From heart to heart."
What to expect in the Online Couples Counseling
If you decide to work with me, it’s important to me that you get a sense of how I work – so you can feel whether my approach resonates with you.
Every relationship is unique – and that’s exactly how I shape my sessions: individually, mindfully, and with a deep understanding of what moves you as a couple.

A safe space for your relationship
You’ll have space to talk openly about your conflicts, needs, and challenges. I guide you in understanding both yourself and each other more deeply – not through blame, but through genuine listening and new perspectives
Tools and Impulses for everyday life
Real change happens between the sessions.
That’s why I offer you insights and small practices you can try at home – to anchor new behaviors and strengthen your connection, step by step.
Body-based methods to reconnect
I don’t just work on a cognitive level – I include the body, too. Emotions, needs, and relational patterns don’t only show up in words – they live in the body as well. Together, we explore what helps you reconnect – with yourselves and with each other.
Building understanding for each other
When you feel seen and understood, closeness can grow again – naturally. Together, we explore the needs behind your emotions – and how to express them in ways that deepen your connection, without losing yourselves in the process.
Cancer & Relationship – when a diagnosis changes everything
A cancer diagnosis doesn’t just affect the body – it deeply impacts the partnership. Suddenly, everything feels different. Fears about the future, emotional overwhelm, and physical changes can challenge even strong relationships.
You may feel unsure how to approach each other, or notice that closeness and intimacy have shifted. I support you in navigating these changes – with openness, care and compassion. You’re allowed to find your own path, and reconnect as a couple within your new reality.
Sexuality & Desire – when closeness no longer comes naturally
Sexuality is a language of connection, intimacy, and longing – but sometimes it becomes heavy or distant. Maybe your body no longer feels familiar, or insecurities get in the way. Maybe it feels like you’re just coexisting, instead of truly meeting each other.
I support you in discovering what you truly desire, what unconscious dynamics may be affecting your intimacy, and how to find new ways to bring desire, closeness and real connection back into your relationship.
When everyday life pulls you apart
You used to talk for hours, laugh, and enjoy each other’s presence – but now the relationship feels heavy. Your conversations revolve around chores and logistics, and the lightness you once had seems lost. Maybe you feel more like roommates than partners – and don’t know how to shift it.
Together, we explore what created the distance – and find new ways to bring joy, trust and connection back into your shared life.
Depth & Connection – when you want to truly see each other again
Sometimes love alone isn’t enough – you want to meet each other more deeply, not just as partners, but as human beings. You may feel unseen or unheard, or you long to be able to show yourself more openly, without fear of being too much or too vulnerable.
I help you slow down and tune in to one another with presence and care – so that real intimacy can return. A kind of connection where you feel truly seen and accepted, just as you are.
Why this kind of Couples Counseling can be valuable for you
Sometimes, it takes a space outside of family and friends to truly face what’s going on between you.
In this space, there are no expectations, no “You should feel this way”, “You should act like that”, or “You should behave differently.”
There’s just you – and your shared journey toward more understanding, connection, closeness, and intimacy. This is a space for new perspectives, for growth, and for real change.
Sometimes, a session will reveal that certain topics may be better explored in individual sessions rather than in a couple setting. If I sense that this could be helpful for you, I’ll gently bring it into the conversation – always with the goal of supporting you as a couple.

Your first step toward change
I truly believe that couples counseling can only be effective when you feel comfortable and safe with the person guiding you. The trusting relationship between you and me as your counselor is a key factor in whether this work can truly support your partnership.
That’s why I offer a free, no-obligation Intro Call – so you can get a sense of whether my approach and way of working feels right for you.
Book your free 15-minute Intro Call now and see if this is the right path for your relationship.
Single sessions and 3-session packages are paid by bank transfer.
For 6- and 9-session packages, I offer the option to pay in fixed instalments at no additional cost – processed automatically via Stripe (e.g. credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay).
Instalments are charged automatically every 30 days.
That depends – it’s very individual and depends on your goals.
Single sessions are great for specific questions or an initial impulse.
Short-term support (3–6 sessions) is ideal if you want to go deeper into a topic and try out new ways of relating or being.
Longer-term support (9+ sessions) makes sense if you want to explore deeper patterns and integrate lasting change.
Sometimes one session is enough to gain clarity. Sometimes it takes more time to bring new insights into your everyday life. We’ll decide together what feels right for you – or for both of you as a couple.
How much time should I invest in counseling?
The success of our work together doesn’t depend on the sessions alone – it also depends on how you engage with the insights and exercises between our appointments.
Lasting change takes time. A single session can bring initial clarity, but real development unfolds over time. It’s not just about what happens during our time together – it’s also about what you do with it afterward.
Between sessions, you’ll have the chance to reflect, try out new ways of thinking and acting, and integrate what we’ve explored into your everyday life. Personalized “homework” or reflection practices can help you internalize new perspectives and actively shape your transformation.
💡 My tip: The more you engage with your process, the more you and your relationship will benefit from it.
What topics can I bring to sex counseling?
ou can talk about anything that’s on your heart when it comes to sexuality and intimacy – there are no taboos here.
Some common topics include:
Feeling shame or insecurity around sexuality
Wanting to reconnect with your desire and pleasure
Navigating different needs within your relationship
Exploring how illness or changes in your body affect your sexuality
This space is here for you – honest, safe, and without judgment.
What happens during the Intro Call? And how does an online session work?
Intro Call:
You can easily book a free 15-minute video call to get to know me.
What to expect in the first meeting:
We’ll briefly talk about your concerns and what you’re looking for
You’ll get a sense of whether this space and my approach feel right for you
I’ll explain how we could work together moving forward
It’s a non-binding opportunity to connect and find out if I’m the right support for you – or for both of you as a couple.
Online Session:
My counseling sessions take place online via Zoom video call. You can join comfortably from home – no matter where you are.
Online counseling offers many benefits:
Location-independent: Whether you live in a big city or a rural area, you can access support.
More comfort: No travel, no waiting room.
Safe space: You speak from your own familiar environment.
Before our first session, you’ll receive a link to join our secure video room.
Does my partner need to join the initial consultation?
No. The initial consultation is meant for us to get to know each other – and for you (or both of you) to get a sense of how I work.
If you’re unsure whether couples counseling is the right path for you, you’re welcome to book the consultation on your own. It can be a helpful way to gain clarity for yourself before starting the process together as a couple.
When is individual counseling more helpful than couples counseling?
Individual counseling can be the right choice if you first want to gain clarity for yourself before working on your relationship.
It can be especially helpful if you:
Feel unsure about what you truly need or want
Feel emotionally lost in your relationship
Want to explore how to stand up for your needs
Wish to let go of patterns from the past that still shape your relationships
Sometimes, it makes sense to begin with individual sessions and later move into couples counseling – once you feel ready.
Couples counseling is ideal if you want to explore solutions together – whether it’s about communication, intimacy, closeness, or rebuilding trust.
It can be especially helpful when:
You keep having the same arguments and feel stuck
Your sexuality or intimacy has changed, or you feel emotionally distant
A crisis – like infidelity or illness – is putting a strain on your relationship
You want to reconnect and bring more ease and closeness into your partnership
Who is couples counseling not suitable for?
Couples counseling can lead to meaningful change – if both partners are truly willing to engage in the process.
It’s usually not helpful when…
One of you isn’t fully on board. If someone joins “because it’s expected” but isn’t emotionally ready, progress is unlikely.
You’re not open to working on your issues between sessions. Real change happens not only during the sessions but also in everyday life.
You’re just looking for a quick “fix” to smooth things over. Superficial changes might help short-term – but lasting growth takes commitment and honest reflection.
If you’re unsure whether couples counseling is right for you, let’s talk about it in the free initial session.
Do you offer evening or weekend appointments?
Yes – most of my sessions take place in the evenings or on weekends. This gives you the flexibility to schedule an appointment outside of typical working hours.
As these times are in high demand, I recommend booking early.
